The Trinidad Short little cigars are top cigarillos in the premium segment. They are machine-made short fillers with an insert made from the finest Cuban tobacco. Smooth taste with a soft, fine-spicy aroma.
The Trinidad Short little cigars brand dates back to 1969 as a Habanos brand. Like the Cohiba, it was made exclusively as a gift for foreign diplomats. It was not released for general sale until 1998. At first there was only one format of Trinidad Short little cigars – the Fundadores. Now three more formats are added – Reyes, Coloniales and Robusto Extra. At the same time, the design of the brand and the cigar rings were revised. In 2015, the Trinidad Vigía was added to the range, a contemporary format with a large ring gauge. The Trinidad brand cigars were produced for a few years in the El Laguito factory, the Cohiba factory. The special tobacco mixtures with insert and page turning from the tobacco growing zone Vuelta Abajo make this brand so exclusive. Today the production is in the city of Pinar del Rio, the most important city in the Vuelta Abajo. All formats are totalmente a mano, tripa larga – long fillers made entirely by hand.
The Trinidad Short little cigars were created in El Laguito, the cigar factory that also produces the Cohibas. They consist of a special blend of selected tobacco leaves from the best Vegas Finas de Primera (first quality plantations) from the Vuelta Abajo region and are known for their classic aroma. Taste: Medium-bodied.
The short format with a length of 8.2 cm, a diameter of 1.06 cm and a ring size of 27 is produced by Internacional Cubana de Tabacos, in Havana. The Trinidad Short little cigars are as short as a mini cigarillo, but with significantly more body – for optimal aromas – and flavor development. The brand-typical Trinidad lace blend is encased in cellophane and is available in an exclusive click box.
The Trinidad Short little cigars brand is named after the beautiful city of La Santísima Trinidad (in English: The Holy Trinity), which was built in the 16th century. It is located on the south coast of Cuba and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
